enough的基本用法

一、engouh 与形容词或副词的搭配
1. adj./adv. +enough
– She is smart enough to solve this problem.
– The water is hot enough to make tea.
– He runs fast enough to win the race.
You talk loud enough to wake up the baby.
– The cake smells good enough to eat.

二、 engouh 与名词的搭配
1. enough+可数名词(pl.)
– There are enough chairs for everyone.
– Do we have enough pens for the exam?
– There weren’t enough apples for the pie.
2. enough+不可数名词
– There isn’t enough sugar in the coffee.
– We need enough time to finish the project.
– There is enough food for the party.

注意事项：
– enough 放在后面的接名词或形容词前，不加冠词。
– 不可数名词前不加”a”或”an”。
– enough 本身是副词，不能再加其他副词修饰。

enough的句型

1.比较级+enough
– She is taller than me, but I am strong enough to lift this box.

2. not+ adj./adv.+enough
– He didn’t study hard enough to pass the test.
– The house doesn’t have enough space for a big family.
– The soup isn’t cooked enough yet.

3. too+adj./adv.+to-infinitive
– The box is too heavy to lift.
– It is too cold to go swimming.
– The music is too loud to hear each other talk.
